After studying law in Germany and the USA, meester Horn founded his law offices on 1 March 1981 in Hamburg. In 2003 he got an additional qualification as mediator. Since 1 January 2014 he is member of the Amsterdam law firm Bavelaar & Bavelaar. In the same year, in addition to his German Bar admission, he was admitted to the Dutch Bar as EU-Advocaat, allowing him to advise and represent his clients in both countries.
After more than 36 years mr. Horn completed his forensic activities in 2017. Of course, as advocaat, consultant and mediator in matters of business affairs, he will continue to assist the clients of Bavelaar & Bavelaar, primarily in Dutch-German legal matters.
His areas of activity are the real estate law, the damage and liability law, the traffic law, the business related criminal law and the labor law.
Having grown up with horses and been an active show jumping rider and horse owner since until a few years ago, mr. Horn is a highly qualified contact person in hippological legal matters, too (alike mr. Dr. Bavelaar who is actively riding jumping competitions up to highest levels).
Furthermore, mr. Horn specializes in legal issues relating to classic motor vehicles (youngtimers and oldtimers).
